Varsity Spirit Inducts 2021 Class Into Varsity Legends

Memphis – Varsity Spirit – the global leader in cheerleading, dance team and band apparel, camps and competitions, and a division of Varsity Brands, the market leader in team sports, school spirit and achievement recognition – is pleased to announce that a new class of individuals has been inducted into the Varsity Legends Program. In 2008, Varsity Spirit created the Varsity Legends to honor those who have made significant contributions to the Varsity Spirit legacy. From innovations in uniform designs, to the advancement of our camps and competitions, the Varsity Legends played a pivotal role in transforming cheerleading and dance into the dynamic and athletic activities they are today.
The 2021 class of Varsity Legends includes:
- Bill Ahern
- Current VP of Staff Development for Varsity Spirit
- Candy Berry
- Head Coach of Greenup County High School for 45 years and long-time member of the Varsity Spirit family
- Brian Carroll
- Former General Manager of Varsity Spirit Fashion
- Buffy Duhon
- Current VP of Business Projects & Brand Operations for Varsity Spirit
- Jim Lord
- Current Director of Education and Programs for USA Cheer
- Penny Ragan
- Current VP of Customer Service and Registration for Varsity Spirit
- Tracie Marciniak
- Former VP of Co Dance and Host of the Varsity Spirit ESPN Shows
- Tracy Hill (June 8, 1970 – September 22, 2021)
- Former SVP of Sales Operations of Varsity Spirit Fashion
