Varsity Spirit Announces Champions of Game Day Live and Pep Band Divisions at 2025 High School National Championships
Varsity Spirit – a division of Varsity Brands and a global leader in cheerleading, dance team and band apparel, camps and competitions, and yearbook – is proud to announce the winners of the highly anticipated Game Day Live and Pep Band divisions at the National Dance Team Championship (NDTC) and National High School Cheerleading Championship (NHSCC), held at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida.
The Game Day Live and Pep Band divisions celebrate the authentic energy and spirit of the sideline experience, showcasing the synergy between cheerleaders, dancers, and marching bands in a high-energy, game-day atmosphere. Competing teams performed in front of packed crowds, bringing the stadium experience to life with precision, enthusiasm, and school pride.
New to these events, the Pep Band Division also crowned its first champions. The debut of this division marks a significant milestone in further recognizing the vital role pep bands play in creating an unforgettable game-day experience, further uniting performers, musicians, and fans in a shared celebration of school pride.

Burncoat High School – NDTC
Next year, bands will have the opportunity to compete at the National School Band Championship (NSBC), which will be part of the National School Spirit Championships across two weekends – DI & DII, based on school size. These unique performance opportunities give bands the chance to shine in the spotlight, in a standalone Pep Band Division, and collaborate with their cheer and dance programs.
