National High School Cheerleading and Dance Team Championships Attract Record Participation
The 2016 National High School Cheerleading Championship and the National Dance Team Championships, held on consecutive weekends, attracted a record number of participants, with more than 1,000 cheerleading and dance teams from around the U.S. and the world. The events drew more than 18,000 athletes to the Walt Disney World Resorts.
