Ed Buccino

Chief Information Officer

Ed Buccino is Varsity Brands’ Chief Information Officer, leading the company’s efforts to build a robust technological platform that delivers integrated business solutions to drive growth through the company’s ongoing digital transformation. 

He is an Information Technology industry veteran with more than 40 years of experience. After graduating with an Industrial and Management Engineering degree from New Jersey Institute of Technology, he quickly rose to become the IT Director at Emerson Radio, a consumer electronics supplier. Following Emerson’s acquisition of Sport Supply Group, now BSN SPORTS, in 1997 Ed joined the company and took charge of IT strategy and initiatives. Ed was appointed as the Chief Information Officer for BSN and, in 2022, was promoted to serve as the enterprise CIO for Varsity Brands.
